Larry "Big Tulip" Scott, age 62 of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. He was born October 23, 1956, to Clarence M. Scott, Sr. and Alberta Washington. His father preceded him in death as well as his siblings, Eugene Scott, Raymond Walker, Derek Scott, Clarence E. Scott, and Pat Walker.
He attended Hot Springs High School. He was a handyman and worked many miscellaneous jobs. Big Tulip as he was known to most will be remembered for 3F's, fishing, fighting and driving fast.
Survivors include his mother, Alberta Washington Nero; siblings, Clarence McKenzie (Wanda) Scott, Jr.; Jerry Scott, Robert Woodfork, Willie Walker, Ray Charles Scott, Kenneth Eugene Scott, Kenneth Lee Scott, Johnny Scott, Mike (Mary) Washington, Anthony (Carla) Nero, Rudy Nero, Clarence W. (Regina) Scott, Eric Scott, Rosie (Johnny) McKinney, Joyce (Jimmy) Thomas, Carolyn (Larry) McDaniel, Linda Jenkins, and Jessie Scott; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Trinity Church 670 Panama St., Hot Springs, AR. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
