Leonard Ogan, 86, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky, to William Carr and Sally Ramson.
Leonard is preceded by his parents.
Leonard graduated High school. Shortly after Leonard pursued a career in agriculture, dedicating some of his life to farming. Leonard was a man who saw the beauty in everyone, never seeing color or harboring unkindness. He had a passion for Hot walking at Oaklawn Race Trace, where he found joy and peace in nature.
Leonard leaves behind his beloved wife, Pearle Ogan, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Leonard is also survived by his in-laws, Olamae, Brenda, Bobbie, Kenny, and Donnie, who cherish him deeply. His caregivers, Pierre, Jamie, and Ellese, provided him with comfort and care in his later years, and the family is deeply grateful for their kindness.
Leonard's gentle spirit, love for life, and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of compassion and love will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 07, 2024, at Oaklawn Chapel Off Golf Links and Celebrate Street. The burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
