Retired Lieutenant Harold L. Marshall age 64 of Pine Bluff passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018.  He was born July 15, 1954 in Altheimer, AR to the late Hall and Irene Withers Marshall.

Harold was a 1972 graduate of Wabbaseka High School.  He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and later received his Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science from Southeast Arkansas College (SeArk) and later obtained his Master's Degree.  In 1975 he joined the Pine Bluff Fire Department and retired in 2009 as a Lieutenant after 34 years of service. He was a Deacon and faithful member of Mount Bayou Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Corey Plummer of Arlington, VA and Shayla Marshall-Smith of Plano, TX; his siblings, Ruth Marshall-Chatman (Harry) of County Club Hills, IL, Berlin (Lora) Marshall of Sugar Land, TX and Comer (Yuko) Marshall of San Francisco, CA; 5 grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Mt. Bayou Baptist Church, Altheimer, AR.  Burial will follow in Altheimer Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday, September 2, 2018 at the church.
