Lottie Idella Haywood Clark age 73, of Keokuk, IA formerly of Hot Springs passed away, Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born July 22, 1943 in Hot Springs to Frank and Lottie V. Haywood.
Lottie was a graduate of the Historic Langston High School Class of 1962 in Hot Springs, AR.
Upon moving to Keokuk, IA she united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she served diligently for many years as the Culinary Director.
"Della" as she was often called, was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents; sisters, Helen Haywood, Martha Nelson, Mary Williams and Jewel Harge: brothers, Frank Haywood, Jr. and James Haywood, Sr.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of thirty-three years, Elmer Clark; two daughters, Connie Weathers of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jenny (Johnnie) Williams of Beebe, AR; two sons, James (Lisa) Scott of Kahoka, IA and Travis (Delesia) Clark of Hamilton, IL; two stepchildren, Lenny Clark and Antoinette Troy; two sisters, Fannie Hill of Hot Springs, AR and Marguerite McClinton, of Dorchester, MA; one brother, Raymond Haywood, Sr. of Hot Springs, AR; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family; a host of friends, including her special and dedicated friends, Norma Jean Bradley and Johnna Lambert.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Keokuk, IA.
