Mama Lysette Tchouta, 69 passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Thursday, May 04, 2023, in Hot Springs, AR. She was born on January 01, 1954, to Jean Tchangha and Catherine Yopa in Bangangte, Cameroon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Etienne Leumi, and her sisters Chantal Yanou and Rosette Ngassam.

Mama Lysette was a remarkable woman whose unwavering love and care touched the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated herself as a caregiver to her family, pouring her time and energy into their well-being. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was tending to her garden, stitching together beautiful creations through sewing, or escaping into the realms of literature. Her legacy of love, compassion, and devotion will forever inspire us. As we say our final goodbyes, may we find solace in knowing that she watches over us, and may her memory be a guiding light in our lives

Mama Lysette is survived by one sister, Rosalie Djiki, and her sons Celestin (Joëlle Nega)Petgoup, Bertrand (Siewe Mimie)Tchangha, Serge (Stephanie Ketcha) Ndjamen, Blaise (Reine Tina)Nfongang, Martial Yopa, and Jean Paul Leumi. Her daughter Marie Madeleine (Didier Romeo Yamga) Yomba, seventeen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Mama Lysette spent her recent months in Hot Springs Arkansas with the company of her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday, June 03, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at New Beginning Christians Ministries 323 E. Grand Hot Springs, AR 71901.
