Marcille Lovell Gantt, 86 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on September 24, 2022, She was born March 22, 1936, to Albert Don Smith Sr. and Itell Smith.
Marcille is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Zollie Gantt, her son Robert Mills Sr., five siblings: Sullivan Smith, Alma Terry, Martha Motley, Al Smith, Albert (A.D) Smith Jr., And two sisters-in-law Estrellita Smith & Clotia Smith.
Marcille became a Baptist at an early age. After attending Langston School, she started her career as a Sterilization Technician and later became a CNA. She also worked at various hotels in Hot Springs. Some of her favorite things to do were fishing, crossword puzzles, and watching family feud. If you ever visited her at home, she always had her peppermints, double mint gum, vanilla ice cream, and some KFC.
Marcille is survived by her four children. Ronald Mills (Stephanie) of Little Rock, Ar., Michael Lemons of St. Petersburg, Fl., Philita Jones (Ocie) of Hot Springs, Ar., Myra L. Smith of Hot Springs, Ar., & stepdaughter Zollette Loudermill of Hot Springs, Ar. Her sister Carolyn Johnson of Little Rock, Ar. A sister-in-law Reverend Peaches Smith of Hot Springs, Ar. A host of grandchildren, great grands, great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family of Marcille would like to thank those of you who reached out to us in expressions of love, prayers, comforting words, flowers, food, support, and other genuine acts of kindness. The Visitation will be on October 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Service 336 E. Grand Ave Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Jonathan Beyer of First Lutheran Church of Hot Sprin gs will Officiate the service.
