Obituary

Margaret Sue Witcher-Loudermill 76 was born July 11, 1945, the youngest of 4 children born to the late Luther and Charity Marie Witcher in Waldo, AR. A small rural town where she spent her formative years growing and learning life's lessons. On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, Margaret finished Life's Chores assigned to her, and the Lord promised good to her, His word was her hope long as her life endured.

August 8, 1961, Margaret married her childhood sweetheart John Calvin Loudermill and they would leave their small town of Waldo, AR, and venture to Hot Springs, AR where they would begin their married life and within some years began their family. For many years Margaret was a stay-at-home wife and mother with her two small girls, Cynthia and Landa. Yet, she didn't stay at home because she was always busy helping neighbors in need especially in the "Kitchen". Cooking was her skill. And if grades were given, she would get an A+ for her Turkey & Dressing, Liver & Onions, Pinto Beans, Greens, Homemade Macaroni & Cheese, Candied Yams, Cornbread, Holiday Meals and the list goes on. But her passion and purpose were a delight to make sure people were feed, full, and happy.

Tragedy struck the Loudermill family in 1968 when John Calvin was killed in a car accident, and she became a single parent. But Margret was a go-getter, she knew what had to be done and she did it. For thirteen years she was employed at National Rejectors Plant. During this time her girls were becoming preteens and teenagers as well as her home was the "Hang Out Spot". With her youthful spirit and exuberance, Mrs. Margaret was the cook, tutor, counselor, and every kid's place to be. Her house was a home away from home. They loved her and she in return loved them equally. Because of Cynthia and Landa's involvement in T'Steppers, Basketball, and other schools, and community activities, Margaret was a Sports Mom and "All Kids Mattered."

After leaving National Rejectors she would acquire her dream job with St. Joseph's Hospital and during her tenure at Mercy Medical Center. Again, her cooking expertise would "WOW" thousands upon thousands of patients in the hospital as well as those who received the meals she prepared for the Meals on Wheel program. Margaret Sue Loudermill's name was synonymous with her years of work as the coordinator and cook of the Meals on Wheel Program. She retired in 2014. However, retirement didn't last long. She took a job for the next 5 years at Ouachita Children Center.

Family, Church, and Friends have always been an essential aspect of Margaret's day-to-day relationships. To Cynthia she was "Momma", to Landa she was "Luther", to her they were her "World" and she delighted in whatever they did. In her later years if you saw one you saw all 3. A trio. Margaret didn't exclude other family members. Being the youngest of two sisters and one brother, her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, grandchildren, godchildren, bonus children, bonus grandchildren, everyone she loved took part and participated in whatever she was doing. No one was left out. If she was going to Oaklawn Race Track you were going too. Friends weren't just friends, they were family. If you were her friend, you knew just as much about the Waldo Community and where her humble beginnings began as if you had grown up there. In the early years, Margaret participated in various social organizations. One club she enjoyed and was the most active was the Deltanaires. You knew her signature color "Red" and the importance of a great "Hat." You also knew the importance of God, His Son Jesus, and The Comforter. Her church life and the fellowship among fellow believers whether with the girls at their churches or at her church gave her solace knowing that whatever the problem Jesus would solve it.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, husband siblings, twin grandsons JaBari and JaCari Daniels.

A lifetime of love and memories will be cherished by her son: Joe (Gail) Loudermill, Grove, OK; two daughters; Cynthia (Jay) Johnson, Bryant, AR, Landa Loudermill, Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren; Wanda (Moun Tae) Edmundson, Oklahoma City, Ok, John Loudermill, Dallas, TX, James Loudermill, Oklahoma City, OK, Raven Dolls-Daniels, Bryant, AR; Great-Grandson: Moun Tae Edmundson Jr., Oklahoma City, Ok; Aunt: Melvia Mathis Williams; Sister in law:  Pecolia Hicks: Brother in law: Hampson Loudermill; Bonus Brother: Van Glidwell; Bonus Sisters: Fannie Burton and Sweetie Barron; Bonus Children: Melissa Bailey, Stephanie Bennett, April Bailey, Katina Ray, Adriane Hines, Anthony (Snook) Guinn, Frank Thompson, Leroy (Greg) Thompson, Greg Wyrick, Wallace Snowden; Bonus Grandchildren: Jarvis Carrigan, Jonathan Carrigan, Ebony Carrigan, Anthony Goffigan, Sierra Goffigan, Issaac Santna, Chaniya Owens, Starlah Hicks; Godchildren: Layressa Blunt, Bennie McKinney Jr., Verla McKinney-Calhoun, Rev.
