Maria Guadalupe Escalera Pulido passed away peacefully on the morning of July 10, 2017, Lupe went to be with the Lord at the age of 79.  Born June 16, 1938 in Los Reyes Michoacán Mexico to Sebastian Escalera and Maria de Jesus Acosta Madrigal.  They preceded her in death as well as her husband, Cristobal Pulido Sanchez. Lupe is survived by her loving children, grandchildren and step grandchildren, brothers, sisters, aunts, and cousins. She had a large family in the US and Mexico. Lupe's children Ana Angelica, Mirna, Arturo, Blanca, seven grandchildren and two step grandchildren loved her dearly.
Lupe was a Resident of Heritage of Hot Springs nursing home in Hot Springs, Arkansas where she enjoyed crocheting, Spanish television, flower picking, birds, walking around and enjoying everyone's company that loved her dearly. Her daughter Myrna was by her side everyday as part of the staff.  We would like to thank every person that cared for or contributed to the life of Lupe.
Her grandson Jacob Hopper sums it up with this words.

RIP Grandma Lupe, you will be in our hearts forever! We little knew that morning God was going to call your name.  In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.  It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home.  You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.  Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain we link again.
