Obituary

Martinique (Nikki) LaDesiree' Floyd, 44, was born on November 26, 1976 to the late Raymond Floyd Sr. and Rose Green-Floyd. Martinique passed away on December 29, 2020 in Hot Springs, AR. A Native of Lake Charles, LA. She lived in Hot Springs, AR for 10 years. She is a graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School in Lake Charles, LA. She worked as an instructor for First Step for 10 years in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was a member of Lake Charles Boston Alumni Class of 1995. Martinique was a member of the Lake Charles-Boston Lady Cougars Track team. The Lady Cougars were 3A State Champs 1992-1993-1994 under the direction of Coach Gregory Gauthier. Martinique Floyd was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church. She always had a smile on her face throughout life. She enjoyed supporting her children in achieving their goals.

Martinique is preceded in death by her father Raymond Matthew Floyd Sr. Her maternal grandparents Wilmon Green and Rosa Rodgas-Green, paternal grandparents Irvin Floyd and Alzina Singleton-Floyd, and her Uncles Orville Flowers, Mark Victorian, Bobby Wilturner, Ervin and Charles Floyd; and her Aunt Marvle Ann Floyd-DeVille.

Martinique is survived by her Mother Rose Marie Green-Floyd of Lake Charles, LA; her children Bi-Da'sha, Clarence, Ke'Areniquesha, Ke'Arenekka, Terrance, Xzavier, Xzaviera, Calvin, Reginae' Floyd of Hot Springs, AR; her grandsons Zayden and Cameron Floyd of Hot Spring, AR; Her Sister Angelica Floyd of Lake Charles, LA; and her brothers Donatella Floyd (Kimberly) and Raymond Floyd Jr. (Barbara) of Lake Charles, LA. Her favorite cousin Latasha Henry-Citizen (Lee) of Lake Charles, LA; and her Godmother Frances Charles of Lake Charles, LA; and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service, Monday January 11, 2021 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services, 336 east Grand Avenue, Hot Springs, AR.
