Mary Lee Byers age 73 of Tyler, TX formerly of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020.  She was born October 16, 1946, in Cleveland, AR to James and Cora McFall Byers.  They preceded her in death as well as her siblings, Annie Eliza, Lillie Jewel, Marilyn Byers, Luetricha Byers, and James Byers.

Mary attended Center School in Cleveland, AR.  She worked for many years at Craighead Cleaners.  She had a quiet spirit and loved to cook. She attended Grand Ave Baptist while living in Hot Springs.

Survivors include her sons, Larry (Gloria) Byers of Tyler, TX, Roy (Christina) Byers, and Jason Byers of all of Hot Springs; siblings, Elvin (Wanda) Canady, Gary Byers, Mae Howard, and Rose Marie Byers all of Hot Springs, Charles (Lynn) Byers of Oak Harbor, WA, Alberta Byers of Kansas City, MO; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020, at New Prospect Baptist Church 3433 Hwy 95, Cleveland, AR.  Burial will follow in Moore's Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.  Guest registry is at http://www.carriganmemorial.com .  Arrangements are entrusted to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services.
