Maya Mariah Mitchell, 14 of Hot Springs, died Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born November 22, 2006, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Cedric Mitchell and Renee Hawkins.

Maya was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was a loving, affectionate, cheerful, and vibrant girl.  She was caring, loved hugs, playing barbies, and watching movies with her niece and nephew. She loved doing her makeup, getting her hair done, and being dolled up. She also enjoyed helping her mom and sister in the kitchen.

She is predeceased by her grandmother Mary Brown, Sandra Beckwood, Shala Bell Mitchell.

Loving survivors include her parents; Renee Hawkins and Cedric Mitchell, her sisters; Deraya Brown (Raymond Self), Dasha Mitchell, Brother; Quintavious Mitchell, Uncles; Earl (Tina Sims), Timothy Johnson, Marquel Mitchell, Willie Mitchell Jr., and Marquel Mitchell. Aunts; Shaquilla Jones, Mary Beckwood, and Keisha Mitchell. Nephew; Raymond Self Jr., Nieces; Delayla Self and soon to be DeMaya Self, Grandfathers; Lester Harmon of Milwaukee, Willie Mitchell of West Helena, Grandmother; Linda Beckwood of West Helena, A host of cousins; including, Soraya Sims, Michael (Madison) Sims, Dreshauna (Corey) Simpson, Autumn (Laci) Sims, Kayla Sims, Parion Johnson, Ahman Johnson, Xavier Sims, Tre Elliott, Close friend; Michelle Young, Destiny, and Justina Luker.

The Graveside Service will be Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Friendship Cemetary.
