Michael Don Glaze, 72, affectionately known as Mike, transitioned peacefully on April 27, 2025, in his hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born on January 21, 1953, in Hot Springs, to Peregrin Glaze and Mildred Harris.

Mike spent his life deeply connected to Hot Springs and the natural beauty that surrounded it. A quiet soul with a vivid imagination, he found joy in the pages of fantasy novels, especially The Lord of the Rings, and spent many hours walking among the trees, nurturing his garden, and cheering on his favorite football teams.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Rimler; his two sons, Perry Glaze and Avery Glaze; and his cherished grandchildren: Lainey, Harrison, and Alex. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, thoughtful presence, and a deep appreciation for the simple, meaningful moments in life.

Mike's memory will live on in every well-tended garden, every great story shared, and every walk taken beneath the trees.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honor his life.
