Moses Lee Dixon, age 77 of Hot Springs, AR. was called home to be with the LORD on March 11, 2021. Moses was born to Mose Lee and Rosetta Dixon in West Point Mississippi November 18, 1943. Moses was preceded in death by his father Mose Lee Dixon, his sons Carl Dixon, Barry Dixon, and his grandson Terrell Kennith Johnson. After the death of his father, Ms. Rosetta Dixon relocated her family to East St. Louis IL.
Early in life, Moses was educated at St. Clair County Public School System where he attended Dunbar Elementary, Hughes-Quinn Junior High, and Lincoln High School. After the completion of his education, Moses found that he had a profound love for horses. This led him to become a professional horse trainer and groomer. Moses traveled the country training elite horses of top breeds to compete in prestigious thoroughbred races. After his retirement from his training career Moses received a certificate in hospitality and worked in the hospitality industry before his full retirement. Moses began to study the word of GOD and fully submitted his life to his LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Moses became a member of Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a dutiful member until his untimely passing.
Moses is survived by; his son Marvin Dixon, Daughters Tracy (Kennith) Dixon-Johnson, Denise (Kevin) Dixon-Copper. Grandchildren; Kennith Johnson II, Anthony Maurice Johnson, Trent M.K. Johnson, and Kennithia C. Johnson. Great Grandchildren, Destanie Johnson, Kouraje Johnson, Alyana Johnson, Kennith Johnson III, Amor Johnson, Trent M.K. Johnson II, Phy'nix I. Barfield, and Amir Johnson. Mother Rosetta Crawford. Brother Jimmy Lee Dixon. Sister Delores Weston and Brother-In-Law Andrew Weston. Along with a host of nieces and nephews. Moses adored his second family Dirragh D. Rose (Dee) and Mr. William C. Watkins Moses was especially fond of his Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Family.
In lieu of flowers, the Dixon family is asking that donations be made to the Angels watch shelter
