Mother Jean V. Lake, affectionately known as, "The Lady wth The Golden Voice" departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the age of 93, in Little Rock Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Robert T. Lake; three children, Veronica Lake, Maestro Danny Jones, and Norris Harris, Sr.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Steve R.  (J'auuan Gaylyn) Lake, Dorris Banks, Stephanie Stallworth, and Robbie Lake; her sister, Mertha Crutcher; a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2019, at New Hope Baptist Church, 1821 Edmonds Street, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation will be Friday from 7:30 – 8:30 PM at Robinson's Mortuary, 1201 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Little Rock, AR. (501) 371-0111.
