Ocie Jones, 71 of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on March 03, 2023, in Hot Springs, AR. He was born April 26, 1951, in Little Rock, AR to George and Christine Jones.

Ocie is preceded in death by; his parents as well as his sibling Georgia Lee Jones and grandson Jeremiah Smart.

Ocie attended Little Rock Public School. He worked as a Bellman at the Majestic Hotel and The Arlington Hotel. He really enjoyed his seasonal work, at the Oaklawn Racing Track & Casino. His favorite pastime was fishing which he was very passionate about, reading, music, and watching football. Ocie loved watching the Horses work out and loved live racing. Last but not least playing his guitar and making bean pies.

Ocie is survived by his Wife of 36 years Philita Jones of Hot Springs. His three daughters; Latonia Walker of CA, Shayla (Jamell) Smart of WA, and Takarra Majors of AR. His five grandchildren. His four sisters; Lennal Joyner, Flozell Blevins, Mozell Dangerfield, and Fayrene Ellison. His two brothers-in-law are Ronald (Stephanie) Mills and Michael Lemons. His two sisters-in-law Lynn Smith and Zolletta Loudermill. A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
