Onie B. Wilborn was born December 25, 1933 in Camden, AR to Will and Mary Sanders Broomfield, Sr. In her 81st season after a well fought battle, she answered the voice of the Lord on Monday, May 5, 2014 with her beloved family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thornell Wilborn and six siblings, Louise Heard, Gleason Broomfield, William Broomfield, Jr, Leon Broomfield, Irean Dennis and Murl Dennis
Her memories will be cherished by her children, Henry Wilborn of Little Rock, Dorthine (Larry) Bonner of Lufkin, TX, Annie Williams, James (Princess) Woods, Alice Greene, Craig (Jackie) Greene and Stephaine "Babie" Wilborn all of Hot Springs and Cedric Greene of Los Angeles, CA; her only surviving brother, Odell Broomfield of Hot Springs; thirty grandchildren, a host of great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2014 at Eureka Baptist Church with Pastor Steve R. Lake, officiating. Burial will follow in Gallatin Cemetery in the Stephens Community. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
