Patricia Yvonne Garverick, age 75, of Hot Springs was born on September 26, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pat departed this life for her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 20, 2019 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Pat as she was affectionately called was a graduate of Hot Springs High School. Because of her determination and resolve, Pat was the first woman to wear the blue uniform in Hot Springs.   Pat started her own business, The Coral Reef in Hot Springs and operated it for 10 years. She made numerous friends that were touched by her generosity and passion for life.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Pat had a passion for cooking and gardening. She was always giving of herself to others in need. For the last five years she cooked Thanksgiving Dinner for the homeless and those suffering with addiction. Her compassion for others was an inspiration to so many.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Garverick and her grandson, Ethan Spring.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mike "Griffith" Sherrill, Tony (Londy) Sherrill, and Stevie Sherrill (Max) Smith; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
