Paul Arthur Lee, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, peacefully transitioned on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to his loving parents.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his son Shawn Parks, and grandson Cody Moldenhauer.

Paul was a proud graduate of Paris High School in Paris, Illinois. After graduation, he chose to serve his country as a dedicated member of the National Guard. Paul was a gentle and kind-hearted man known for his unwavering faith and his passion for sharing the message of Jesus Christ.

As a deacon in Radcliff, Kentucky, Paul served his community with humility and grace. He also devoted over 20 years to assisting women in need at Lamb's Fold Women's Shelter in Illinois. Paul retired after a long and fulfilling career in corrections, having worked at Stateville Prison in Crest Hill, Illinois, and Joliet Corrections Facility.

Later in life, Paul and his wife, Donna, settled in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where they became active members of Freedom Church. Paul cherished his family above all else and found great joy in traveling. His favorite destination was Branson, Missouri, where he made countless fond memories. He also enjoyed playing "friendly" spades games with loved ones.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lee, and children, Matt Lee, Debbie (Johnny) Whearley, Stacie (Kevin) See, Butch (Ann) Moldenhauer, Dawn (Jim) Pigoni, Nicole (Chris) Morphew. His many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A host of extended family, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Paul's memory.
