Paul Rose, Sr. in his 74 ^th season of life made his earthly transition on Tuesday, July 29, 2019. He was born May 9, 1945 in Omaha, NE to William and Bonnie Alexander Rose.  They preceded in him death as well as his son, Paul Rose, Jr.; siblings, Rodney Rose, Wilma Fox, Shirley Ann Starks, and Betty Cole.  He was a graduate of South High School in Omaha, NE. Paul was the former owner of "Fat Three" social club in Omaha, NE.

On April 27, 1984 Paul took Dirragh Watkins to be his bride and they shared thirty-five wonderful years together.  Paul was a member of Cottrell Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  He served with the Men's Ministry.  He was a horse trainer for many years and loved the horses.

He leaves a lasting impression on the heart of his loving and devoted wife, Dirragh Watkins Rose; his children, Renetta Epperson, Karen (James) Simpson, and Kenya Williams; his siblings, William (Gladys)Rose, Jr., Donald Rose, Sr., Terry Rose, Patricia Rose, and JoAnn (Bob) Loving; his parents-in-love, William (Bill) and Gracie Watkins; brothers-in-love and sisters-in love, William (Susan) Watkins, Janet Walker, Richard Watkins, and Anita (Billy) Robinson; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, August 5, 2019, at Cottrell Chapel C.M.E. Church with Pastor James Story, officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  His earthly resting place will be in Graceland Park Cemetery in Omaha, NE.
