Peggy Ann
Jackson
Jan 26, 1954 — Nov 5, 2021
Peggy Ann Jackson, 67, of Hot Springs, received her ultimate healing on November 5, 2021, and was carried away to her heavenly home, cradled in the arms of Jesus.
Peggy was born at Fort Polk in Louisiana on January 26, 1954, to Thomas Harold Dobbs and Dorothy Glover Dobbs. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Glover Weber, stepfather John Weber, Sr, her father, Thomas Harold Dobbs, two brothers, Tommy Gene Dobbs and John Weber, Jr., her grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. What a great reunion day awaited Peggy when she arrived to see all those loved ones gone on before her.
She is survived by her son, Alton "Buddy" Sherman, Jr. (Leigh Ann) of Newport, AR, her daughter, Robin Wages, of Hot Springs. Four grandchildren, David Chance Clark, and Candyce Breeanna Clark of Hot Springs, Kendra Jeffries, and Shante Alston of Newport. Two great-grandchildren, Buddy David Clark, and Kimberlee-Ann Kasemeier, of Hot Springs. Stepmother, Sandy Dobbs of Batesville. Two sisters, Diane Johnson (Sammy) of Hot Springs and Joyce Chunn (Steve) of Pineville, MO, and one brother, Roger Weber of Greenbrier, AR. A host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Peggy worked hard her whole life. She was a waitress and manager in the food industry for most of those years. She loved visiting and laughing with her customers, hoping to make their day go better. Peggy also worked for 9 years for the Garland County Sheriff's office with the Juvenile Detention Center.
Peggy will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. She was one of a kind and always made the room brighter because she was in it.
The family would like to thank General Care Physician, Dr. Cloud, Dr. Stephen Divers, and the staff at Genesis Cancer Center for the care and support of Peggy during her illness. The family would also like to thank the team at Arkansas Hospice of Hot Springs for their care of Peggy during the end of her illness.
The visitation will be November 10, 2021, at 1:00 pm with the service starting at 2:00 pm at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Srv. with Steve Chunn officiating.
