Our mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Phyllis Laverne Tidwell in her 61st season went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born July 20, 1960, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Warren G. Polk and Jane Frances Ware.
She is preceded in death by her parents as well as, her son Jatorrie T. Smith, and sister Brenda J. Hanks.
Phyllis studied at Garland County Community College. She worked at West Shores Senior Assisted Living facility as a Certified Nurse's Assistant for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Darrell Dwayne Dobson, and Darcy Darrell Dobson; four grandchildren: Deundra Michelle Dobson, Elena Latrice Dobson, Darrell Dwayne Dobson Jr, and Tyron Dobson; two adored uncles, Joe (Sharon) Ware, of St Louis, MO, and O.B. (Carrie) Ware of Little Rock, AR; two brothers, Lon (Karen) Ware of Arkadelphia, AR and Marvin (Kyoko) Ware of San Jacinto, CA; two sisters, Irene Bowman of Midwest City, OK, and Susan Ware of Bowie, MD. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved her dearly. Last but not least, Phyllis leaves her true lifelong friends, Victoria Slotfeldt and Deloris Kelly, as well as, Patricia Del-Carmen Arellano, Shania Robinson, James Hamilton, and Cameron Young.
The Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, 11:00 AM Roanoke Baptist Church 236 Whittington Ave Hot Springs, Arkansas 71901
