Rickey Luvel Boyd, 62 of Hot Springs, AR transitioned on Sunday, May 05, 2024. On March 21, 1962, he was born to Otis and Endouice Boyd in Altheimer, Arkansas.

Rickey is preceded in death by his father Otis Boyd Sr. his sisters Joyce Davis and Valleria Boyd, and one brother Otis Boyd Jr.

Rickey's passion for the outdoors was only matched by his love for his family. Whether casting a line by the water's edge or sharing laughter over a game of spades and dominoes. He cherished these moments with his family and friends. Alongside his dedication to working at Oaklawn Racing and Casino, his family remained a central pillar in his life, grounding him with their love and support.

Rickey is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Debra Boyd of Hot Springs, AR, and his mother Endouice Boyd of Pine Bluff, AR. his children Nicholas (LaTisha) Higgins, Rickey Boyd JR, Rickisha Boyd, Rickardo (Kristen) Boyd, and Orlando (Tara) Boyd all of Hot Springs, AR. His siblings; Harold (LaTonja) Boyd, and Tina (Maurice) Jones all of Pine Bluff, AR, Tammie (Kevin) Dobson, Long Beach, CA, Sherry (Randy) Brown, Little Rock AR, His grandchildren; Trinty Bournes, Cheza Lantz, Nicholas Higgins, Eliseiyah Robinson, Christopher Stewart, Keyonna Monga, Nachalael Boyd,  Nathan, Daniel, Immanuel, Veronica, Olivia Boyd Makayla Brown, Oriana and Tiara Boyd. His great-grandchildren; Pax, Kingston, Azyla, and Carson. A host of Aunts, uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

The memorial service will be on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at  The Webb Center 127 Pleasant St. Hot Springs, AR 71901.
