Robbin Lynn Williams, age 48, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. She was born on July 13, 1971, in Dumas, Arkansas to Betty Joyce Williams. Robbin attended Dumas High School. After moving to Hot Springs, she attended the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center where she received her certification in Upholstery. She worked for several restaurants in the city during her career. Because of her name, she carried the nickname "Rocking Robbin", as well as, "The Candy Lady". She always had Hubba Bubba bubble gum for the children. She was a very talented artist who loved writing poetry and dolphins. She also loved caring for people. She was known as a Village Mom to her family and friends alike. They referred to her as "Drill Sergeant". She leaves behind her loving fiancé, Jennifer Scott; her siblings, James Williams, Blanca Martinez, Dolores Kendrick (Chuck Martin) and Jose (Stephanie) Martinez; two nieces; nine nephews; great-nieces; two great-nephews; her furry children, Calisto, Lana and Kryptonite; and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service to remember her life will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2020, at the Historic Eureka Baptist Church, 721Gaines Street, with Dr. Steve R. Lake, delivering the eulogy. A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2020, in Tyro Cemetery, Star City, AR. The guest registry is at http://www.carriganmemorial.com .
