Ronald Keith Lenox "Ron", a life-long resident of Hot Springs, AR, passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 48 at St. Francis Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Born Sunday, June 24, 1973, in Hot Springs, AR to Lonell and Minnie Nolen Lenox. He is the second child of four beautiful children. On June 3, 2003, he married Angie Dobson, a childhood sweetheart, and gained two bonus children Gary "Chino" Dobson and Tesia Noble. On August 24, 2000, he welcomed his son, Ronald Jr. (Lil Ron) who was amongst one of the most important aspects of his life.
Ronald attended Hot Springs High, now known as Hot Springs World Class High School, and was a 4 sport letterman in football, basketball, baseball, and track. After high school, he attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he played football and became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Ronald held various roles throughout his career in healthcare and the food industry.
Ronald is survived by his parents; Lonell and Minnie Nolen Lenox; his son, Ronald Lenox, Jr., and bonus children Gary "Chino" Dobson and Tesia Noble; four grandchildren Kailee Nathaniel, Jianna Griffin, Angelo Noble, and Amari Lenox; his siblings, Lonell Dino Lenox (Natasha) all of Hot Springs, AR, Eric Lenox and Melody Lenox both of Dallas, TX. His Uncle John Love Hunter of Gary, IN, and his Aunts Floralene Young of Portland, OR, and Fannie Lenox of Hot Springs, AR
He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Wilbert Clarence (W.C) and Joyce Nolen; his paternal grandparents Robert and Zonie Lenox. His Uncles Ray and Ollie Lenox and four aunts Wilberdine Howard, Deborah Nolen, Meabell Lenox, and Dorsey Jones.
Ronald was a devoted father, avid golfer, and a great cook. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on June 25, 2022, at Union Missionary Baptist Church
located at 219 Gulpha Street in Hot Springs, AR. Reverend James Frierson will officiate. Burial will take place at Crestview Cemetery following the service. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be sent to 204 Brookhollow Court, Hot Springs, AR 71913
