Mother Rosie Lee (Glover) Graves, 94, of Hot Springs, a wonderful sister, aunt, cousin, and truly dear friend, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 8, 2023. She began her journey on December 2, 1928, in Portland, AR. Mother Graves was the second-born daughter of the late Oscar Sr. and Elnora (Johnson) Glover.
She was predeceased by her aforementioned parents; her beloved brothers, Oscar Glover Jr., Felix King, and Westly Glover, her dear sisters Bertha (Glover) Chriswell, Daisy (Wood) Riley, Jannie Bonner, Essie Strickland, and Julia Mae (Glover) Jackson.
She married Jesse Graves in 1950. To this union, no children were born. She was a true example of how to live a righteous Christian way of life. She lived a Christian life all her life in the sanctified churches. She was a big influence on all her nieces and nephews. She was a phenomenal aunt who took all the children to church with her. For many years she was a dedicated and faithful member of Evangelist Temple Church God in Christ. She loved her church very much and certainly didn't mind fulfilling God's orders. She had the respect and love as the oldest living relative of her siblings, She always was there to help them and their children whenever called upon. She was so soft-spoken and kindhearted to all she would meet. She was employed at St Joseph Medical Hospital for over 40 years as a Scrub Tech on the surgical floor. She dedicated her talent to providing comfort and care to countless patients she cared for throughout the years until she finally retired from her service at the age of 80 years old. She would exercise every night before going to bed. She was a fantastic cook, she could sew clothes and knit clothing items.
Those left to cherish her love include a host of beloved nephews and nieces, great nephews, nieces, and extended family, and very dear friends Mrs. Tancy Robinson, and Ms. Henry Lee.
