Sammy Lee Decker, age 73 of Hot Springs, AR passed away on August 4, 2022, at his home with family by his side. He was born to Robert (Sr) & Opal Lee Whitney Decker Kensett, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Mary Ann Decker Brown. Brothers: Larry Mitchell, Robert Decker Jr, & Terry Decker Sr Nephew: Carl Young Jr Niece: Latrell Turner Granddaughter: Jerrick'ia Mathis (2011), Grandson: Jude Mathis (2015) Jordyn & Josiah Mathis (2017).

He graduated from White County Training School. Shortly after training school, he enlisted in the National Guard. He went on to work at Sperry Vickers in Searcy, AR & Fred Beeman Sawmill in Kensett, AR. Before moving to Hot Springs in the early eighties. He worked at Godbehere Auction for 9 years before he retired. His proudest achievement was being a Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.

He is survived by his significant other of 31 years Fannie B. Lenox of Hot Springs AR, and his daughters; Wanda Decker- (Matthew) Mathis of Sulphur Rock, AR. Eunice Stephens Jenkins of Searcy, AR. His sisters; are Shirley (Carl Sr) Young of Judsonia, AR., and Alice (Robert) Turner of Beebe, AR. Brother; Jimmy Roy (Sarah) Decker of Kensett, AR. Grandchildren: Corey(Chris) Stephens of Searcy, Ar  Jamie (Danielle)  Decker of Batesville, AR  Jalesszia (Mario) Decker- Baries of Searcy, AR  Jonathan (Amanda) Decker of Searcy, Demarious Edwards of Searcy, AR  Stephen Edwards of Searcy, AR Najera Edwards of Searcy, AR, Jalexia Glenn of Searcy Ar Ja'Karea (Cory) Decker of Southside, AR JaTav'ia Decker, Jai'nni, Jai'Teari, Jes'Zika & Jaxson  Mathis of Sulphur Rock, AR  Deanna Decker, Isaias Decker, CiCellia Decker, Liliana Decker Jessie Ducket, Devon Willis Sr, Devon Willis JR, and Deshawn Patton, Great Grandchildren; Jazelle Baires, Manuel Baires, Jace Decker, Jayla Baires, Maya Decker, TyReece Decker of McRae, AR  Eliza Decker,  Elijah Decker, Jamison Decker, Rylee Edwards, Jru Edwards, Ava Edwards, Karson Edwards, and Aleah Edwards & Miracle Cooper  Sister-in-law, Ray Ducket. His nephews; are T.C. Decker and Eddie Brown. His niece, Lesia Frugia. Goddaughter, Teresa Campbell, Stephanie Knox, and Sharon Davis, and His godson, Tyron Rice. Host of Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

The Visitation will be on August 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Service Inc. 336 E. Grand Ave Hot Springs, AR. 71913.
