Sarah Lee McChorn in her 81 ^st of life answered the voice of the Lord and left the troubles of this world behind on Thursday, July 19, 2018.  She was born March 21, 1937 in Wilmot, AR to DC Carter and Bertha Walker. She was the only live birth born to this union.  Her parents preceded her in death as well as her children, Linda Stevenson and Henry Clay McChorn; son-in-law, John Williams, Jr.

She was a faithful member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former foster grandparent for CSO, Sr. Companion, Oaklawn Race Track, Frankie's Restaurants and other several restaurants.

Her memories and legacy will forever be cherished by her children, Freddie Lee "Benny" (Rochelle) Preston of Arkaelphia, Joann Law of Chicago, IL, Brenda Williams of Denver, CO and Bertha (Darrell) Webb of Crossett; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; one uncle Freddie Walker of Crossett and her extended family.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Union Baptist Church with Pastor Douglas E. Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the funeral home.
