This April 16th, Sarah Francis Wright 97 took her final breath, surrounded by loved ones. The sun rose and the world welcomed Sarah on August 16, 1924, a day the world became a little brighter.

Sarah lived a full and warm life, filled with family, love, and happiness. She was born in Mississippi and later relocated to Hot Springs, Arkansas where she raised ten children. She worked at Arlington Hotel for many years and later on worked for Dr. Jim Fowler DDS before retiring and focusing on her true love of fishing. Sarah was devoted to the community and was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award presented by USA Freedom Corps. Sarah was a Christian in faith and attended New Beginning Baptist Church. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Sarah is preceded in death by her father Shaffer Brown, mother Gertrude Williams, husband Singleton Warren Wright, sister Mildred Goolsby, son Ernest "Bubba" Cleveland, and daughters Katherine Burns, Carrie Rasberry, Bertha Osborn, and Sarah Ruth Springer.

Sarah is survived by her daughter Sankie Wright, sons Leroy Wright, Carl Wright, Stanley Wright, and Clark Wright, 28 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Essential Pathway 301 St Louis Hot Springs, Ar 71901.
