Shannon Yvett Hayes (affectionately known as Shanet), 50 stepped into eternity on July 8, 2024. Shannon was born on August 05, 1973, to L.P. Hayes Sr. and Minnie Whie in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Shannon is preceded in death by her parents, her grandmothers, Mattie Bell Mayo and Ruby Hayes; grandfathers, Willie Hayes Sr. and Rev. James Mayo Sr.; brother, Oliver Broadway Jr.; aunts, Virginia Privett and Barbara Shelton; and uncles, Jesse Franklin and Willie Hayes Jr.

Shannon had an extremely sweet spirit and a big beautiful smile. She could instantly light up a room with just her smile and gentle voice. Shannon accepted Christ in early adulthood and maintained her relationship with Him until He called her home.

She leaves to cherish her memories of three of her pride and joy children, whom she loved dearly: Jessica Lewis, Michael Killingsworth, and Desmond Walker (all of Tulsa, OK); three grandchildren: Isabella Walker, Michael, and Makal Killingsworth. Shannon's siblings include Debra Broadway Franklin (Darren), Shonna Hayes, L.P. Hayes Jr., Beatrice (Tim) Philmon, Johnnie (LouWanda) White, Lawrence, Stacy, and Damion Anderson, Akeria Briggs, and Pamela Sprawling. She is also survived by aunts: Annie Mae (Johnnie) Jones, Virgetina (Jerome) Bovan, Delisie Pye, Maggie Parks, Velma Mornes, Louella Aaron, Mattie (Alford) James, ReeCee aka Venticee Mayo, and Effie (Eugene) Lyles; and uncles: Kurp Hayes, James Mayo Sr., and Curtis (Florence) Mayo. Shannon will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
