Sharon Mays, age 59, of Hot Springs formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. She was born January 18, 1961, to Alonzo and Margaret Bell Mays in Chicago, IL. They preceded her in death as well as her twin sister, Karen Mays, who passed away on April 9, 2005. Sharon was a graduate of Calumet High School in Chicago. She was a former employee of the Arlington and Majestic Hotels, and AARP, where she worked on different job assignments. She was attending Bethlehem Temple Church where she loved to decorate and keep the church looking beautiful.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Mays-Johnson (Hugh Michael Johnson); her niece and nephew, Chanece "Shani-Boo" (Chris) Ross, and De'Andre Mays, Sr.; great-nieces and nephews, Courtland Mays, De'Andre Mays, Jr.,  Dreland Mays, Kylan and Karah Ross; two great-great nephews, Chrome
Herrera and De'Andre Mays, III; a host of extended family and friends.
