Shawn Anthony Johnson, 51 of Hot Springs, AR. passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, after suffering a stroke. He was born in Chicago, Ill, to  Rene L Johnson and Alma S Johnson.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Keenan Brandon, and Uncle Russell N. Smith.

Shawn graduated from Hot Springs High School and attended Lane College. Shawn married the love of his life Joyce McNealy Cowley and had 3 wonderful children. They lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas where Shawn worked until his health conditions would no longer allow it. Shawn was best known for making people double over in pain laughing with his comical quick wit. Shawn's smile lit every room he walked in, when you saw it you had no other choice but to smile too. He was described by most as a good man that would give his last to anyone in need. His love and dedication to family were endless. He will be greatly missed.

Shawn is survived by his, Wife Joyce McNealy Cowley, his sons Mychael Ke'Shawn Johnson, Joshua Russel Johnson, and De'Shawn Johnson, his sister Vikkeda P Johnson. A host of other family and friends.
