Shelton Shakeem Mitchell of Hot Springs, at the tender age of twenty-five, faced his untimely death on Saturday, April 11, 2020.  He was born November 25, 1994, to Correy Wells and Sheletha Nevels.

Shelton attended the Hot Springs School System.  He had a love for music, sports, video and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parental great-grandparents, Ivery, Jr. and Estaleen "Red" White (Shelton & Red passed on the same day); maternal great-grandparents, Henderson and Dodie Nevels, as well as other close family members.

He will be remembered by his children, Shontelle Holely, and Zachariah Mitchell; parents, Sheletha Burley (William Mallory) of Hot Springs, and Correy (Brittany) Wells of Fayetteville; his siblings, Serenity Wheeler, Seantiy Wheeler, Savien Burley, Nicolas Wells, Faith Wells, Corbin Cardine, and Terron Wells; his parental grandparents, Madelyn Wells and Ivery White, III; maternal grandparents, Ralph Robinson, and Paula( John) Jones, and Joyce Scott; paternal great-grandmother, Bobbie Garner; one nephew, Draylon Moore; a host of extended family and friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 7:30 PM -8:30 PM at the funeral home.  Due to the COVID-19 virus and the nature of the death, we must insist that no lingering will be allowed after you have paid your respect to the family, we ask that you leave so others may have the chance to enter the funeral home.  COVID-19 rules and regulations are posted at the funeral home entrance.
