Shirley Ann "Shell" Howard age 68, of Mt. Pine passed away Monday, November 5, 2018.  She was born September 4, 1950 in Lewisville, AR to Sylvester and Margaret Howard, Sr.  They preceded her in death as well as two brothers, Sylvester Howard, Jr and Jim Howard: her son, Christopher "Muscle Man" Johnson; a grandson, Christopher "Bloul" Howard.

Shell was a graduate of Mt. Pine High School.  She worked many years for the Arlington Hotel and Delta Plastic.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Pamela "Susie" Howard (Mike Lang), Brian Oliver and Phillip Jones of Texarkana, TX; her sisters, Bobbie Willis, Mary Howell, Mildred Wilbon, Patsy Howard and Linda Faye Thomas; sisters-in-law, Arcie Howard and Mildred Howard; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, November 9, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pine Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
