Shirley Lorene Robinette, 70, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned on Friday, November 21, 2025. She was born on May 6, 1955, in Malvern, Arkansas, to William Taylor and Myrtle Garner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Daniel, her brother, Robert, and her sisters, JoyceAnn, Ruby, and Lena.
Affectionately known by many as "Mama Shirley," she bartended in Hot Springs for 40 years and was loved by everyone who knew her. She cherished her family and friends deeply. A die-hard Razorback fan, Shirley also had a great love for live music, especially Elvis Presley. Above all, the true joy of her life was her great-grandchildren. Matthew, in particular, could always bring a smile to her face, even on her hardest days.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Shelia (Roy) Ashing, Christy (Jason) Riggan, Amber Bennett, and Jennifer (Sunil) Vishnubotla, her sisters, Louise (Gene) Earnest, and Ella Benning; Fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; A host of several nieces, nephews, cousins; a multitude of adopted children; and her beloved dog, Zoe.
Shirley will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.
The visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Carrigan Memorial Funeral, 336 E. Grand Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901
