For the next fifty-five years, Sybil would remain a dedicated employee, rising through the ranks to become the Director of the Hugh E. Gilroy Center in Crown Heights. She worked tirelessly to assist thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers right up until her death. Sybil was not only devoted in her employment, but also to her church, St. Francis Xavier, where she was a long time member and usher.
