Theoplis Lee Sims age 68, of Arkadelphia passed away, Friday, January 3, 2020.  He was born March 16, 1951 to OC and Emma Rankins Sims. They preceded him in death as well as his siblings, Betty Sims, Kathy Sims, OC Sims, Jr., Jessie Sims and Louis Sims.

He was a graduate of Blytheville High School where he excelled in football and basketball.  He worked many years Petty Jean Processing Plant in Arkadelphia. Theoplis was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.  He loved to sing and drink coffee.

Those left to cherish his memories include his children, Bernard (Tiffany) Sims, and Betsy Sims; his siblings, Barbara (Lee, Sr.) Paterson of Blevins, AR, Sara (Amos) Taylor, of Little Rock; Emma (Eddie) Hughes of Murfreesboro, AR, Ora (Charles) Smith of Arkadelphia, David (Vicky) Sims of Bismarck, Tommy (Katherine) Sims of Moline, IL, Robert (Mary) Sims of Davenport, IA and Benny (Brenda Faye) Sims of Cardwell, IL; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020, in the Chapel of Carrigan Memorial.
