Obituary

Thomas D. Gomery, age 83, of Hot Springs AR./formerly of Brownsville PA, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021. He was born on November 14, 1937 in Brownsville, PA to the late Herbert J. and Ruth Leighty Gomery.

Thomas graduated from Brownsville High School Class of 1955. Shortly after he went on to California Teacher College in 1960. He worked for the Library of Congress until 1967. He was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. His hobbies included the Ham Radio Club. He volunteered with BARC for many years.
Thomas is survived by his brother, James H (Linda) Gomery of Hot Springs, AR; nephew, Charlie Rowell;
niece, Kambri Lites; two grand nieces and one grand nephew; and numerous cousins.

Family and friends will be received at Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Wednesday from 4 - 8 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM the hour of service with the Rev. Zane Mitchell officiating. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.
