Tybor'Reonx L.
Bufford
Jun 8, 2004 — Feb 19, 2022
With a very heavy heart, the family acknowledges that TyBor'Reonx "Ty" LaThomazz Bufford transitioned on February 19, 2022. Ty was close to his 18th season and would have graduated with Class of 2022 from Conway High School this May.
Ty began his life as the second son of Takisha Hale and Ekron Bufford on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Conway, AR. As we reflect on Ty's life, we thank God for blessing our family and giving us the time to enjoy him. He loved his mother, dad, siblings, nanny, great granny, aunts, uncle, cousins, and his aunt Cassandra who, without a doubt, spoiled him at a very young age. He was a phenomenal son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, classmate, co-worker, and leader.
Ty's personality and smile was unequivocal. His great-grandmother would often brag about how handsome he was, both inside and out. He was driven, playful, and at times stubborn; all of these characteristics made his family and friends love him that much more. Ty was very gifted and talented. He played football, soccer, basketball, and baseball. In addition to his love for sports, he also loved the arts. He participated in tap, ballet, karate, and hip-hop dance. He also played the keyboard and violin; using his talent as a violinist to serenade his mom at her wedding. To add to his many talents, Ty was a historian; he could recall all the presidents and vice presidents.
Ty invested his talents in the church through song and dance. Ty was a member of the Southwest District Youth Choir, Union Missionary Baptist Church Youth Choir, and St. Ruth Missionary Baptist Church Youth Choir. TyBor'Reonx was baptized by his Papa at St. Ruth Missionary Baptist Church. His first praise dance took place on September 14, 2008, at St. Ruth Missionary Baptist Church in Gum Springs, AR, at his "Papa" Rev. Thomas Hale's Pastoral Installation. This praise dance was special because it was his first, and because he had an opportunity to share this experience with his siblings, Tazayyah and Tyzaiian. They worshipped to "Like Never Before."
He leaves to cherish his memory, his dearly devoted mother, Takisha (Patrick) Stokes; his father, Ekron (LouKeishia) Bufford; his siblings: Ashli, Aaron, Tyundre, Tazayyah, Tyzaiian, Tytrazeun, Tyqueiseun, Tajaiyannah, Denzel, D'Arius, Patrick Jr. (Lil Pat), and Christian Ortiz; his grandmothers: "Great Granny" Geneva Ailsworth, "Granna" Matty Cooksey, and "Nanny" Deborah Hale; his granddad, Yancey Stephens, his great aunt, Dr. Lorretta Davenport; his aunts: Tamiko Johnson, Lakita Cowan, Daphane Decker, Adrian Cooperwood, Yannell (Jermaine) Johnson, Yazarae Stephens, Kavin Ann (Boyce) Montgomery, Aina J. Bufford, and Rosalyn Curry; his uncles: Tavallis (Roneeka) Stephens, Lonnie Taylor, and Darius Stephens, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
His celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1 pm visitation will be one hour before at Elect Temple Church of God in Christ. 307 Johnson St Benton AR.
