Vergie Washington-Brewer age 79, of Detroit, MI Formally of Hot Springs AR, passed away November 25, 2020

She was born January 1, 1941 to the union of Wille and Katherine Washington in Columbus, AR.

The family moved to Hot Springs, AR shortly thereafter where Vergie attended Goldstein and graduated from the Historical Langston High School.  During her time at Langston Vergie was a majorette where she excelled in this extracurricular activity.  After graduation Vergie married her high school sweetheart, Harold Brewer SR. to this union brought four children.

Vergie was predeceased in death by both her parents, Willie and Katherine Washington; her husband Harold Brewer SR.

Vergie transitioned from this life to her heavenly home leaving to cherish her memories sons, Gregory Brewer, Harold Brewer JR, John (Tony) Brewer (Undra Miller-Brewer), and Michael Brewer.   Four bonus children Eric Brewer, Courtney Brewer, Donyale Edwards, and Ivy Sheed.  One God son Karlos Warren. She also leaves to mourn and cherish her memory two brothers and two sisters, Willie C. Washington (Sarah Litty), Evans Washington, Bonnette Smith, and Faye Jones. Two special friends, Janice Wells and Harriet Bartlett, 17 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
