Virginia Jewel Marshall, 77, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, transitioned from this life on Sunday, June 28, 2026. She was born March 28, 1949, in Bearden, Arkansas, to TC Brown and Milay Albright.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Alvin Marshall; and her daughter, Glenda Brown.

Virginia was a proud graduate of Bearden High School, Class of 1967. She had a passion for singing and even attended college to further her love for music. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking meals for others, and sharing laughter through playful pranks. Virginia truly loved being around people and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted church member who found joy in fellowship and faith.

She was united in marriage to Alvin M. Marshall, with whom she shared many loving years.

 Her favorite quote was: “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Virginia leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Edward Charles Goodwin Jr., Kienda Marshall, and Maurice Marshall; her grandchildren: Arbianna Jordan, Aubreyanna Marshall, Chavel Marshall, Damarioius Marshall, and TyQuela Jasper; as well as her great-grandchildren: Za’Rinya, Rahcaedyn, Rah'Carriya, Raneem, Kamarion, Renny, Kyrie, Tajari, Ozaih, and Da’Tosha Jasper Allen; and a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 12 noon at Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services, Inc.,336 E. Grand Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
