Wallace Bernard Munn, 90 of Hot Springs, AR. transitioned peacefully on June 8, 2024. He was born on September 5, 1933, in Hope, AR. to Simmie Munn, SR. and Georgia Stewart Bonner.
Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Simmie Munn Jr, a niece, Aunts, and Uncles.
Wallace graduated from Henry C. Yerger High School in Hope Arkansas. He furthered his education at Los Angeles Community College, earning degrees in History and Psychology. Wallace worked as a janitor at Los Angeles Community College, a position from which he retired with great respect and admiration from his colleagues. He was passionate about photography, traveling abroad, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his family and passions will forever be remembered.
Wallace is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Brenda Woods Wilcox, of Hot Springs, AR. his children: Andra Munn, Vincent Munn, Karen Crutchfield, and Dorthea Munn all of California, Anthony (Sonya) Thomas of Prescott, Cortney Woods, Carol Smith both of Hope, and Kenyatta Booze of Hot Springs, his sister, Shirley A. Brown of Chicago. He cherished sixteen grandchildren, three nephews, and two nieces. Wallace shared a special friendship with Barbara Martin.
The memorial service will be on June 29, 2024, at 11:00 am at Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church 909 Rosston Road Hope, AR 71801.
