Willie Lee Huff, Sr. (Pawpaw) passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at his son's home in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 81. He was born on April 16, 1938, in Parkin, AR to the holy union of Perry and Bertha Lee Howard Huff. Those who have gone before him are his aforementioned parents, and his wife, Arlinda Greathouse Huff.
Willie spent most of his life in Hot Springs, AR. He attended school in the Hot Springs School System, graduating from the Historic Langston High School in 1957. He attended Henderson State University in Arkadelphia; AR. Willie was a member of the Visitor's Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church until he moved to Fayetteville, AR in 2012, where he then attended the Combs Street Church of Christ. Willie was employed by Community Counseling Services, Inc. as a transportation driver for 30+ years. He was a very friendly and outgoing person. He never met a stranger.
On November 30, 1959, Willie Lee Huff, Sr. was united in holy matrimony to Arlinda Sue Greathouse. To this blessed union, four children were born.
He is leaving behind to celebrate his homegoing two sons, Larry "BooBoo" Huff (Lorie) and Willie "JuneBug" Huff, Jr. both of Fayetteville, AR; two daughters, Sherrye "Wild Child" Lynette Huff (Grifford Simon) of Fayetteville, AR, and Angela "Angie Mama" Elaine Ingram (Maurice, Sr.) of Chicago, IL; one brother, Charles Moore of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Elaine Nolen of Long Beach, CA; stepmother, Eula Raye Huff of DeValls Bluff, AR; daughter-in-law: Ilana Huff; close family, Debbie Thompson; thirteen grandchildren, LaToya "Muffin" Graves (James), Amber "Sunshine" Wofford (Tommy), Maurice "Scooter" Ingram, Jr. (Keshia), Deidra "Jaws" Mitchell, Craig "Lucky" Greene, Jr., Willie "Tank" Huff, III (Scharlie), VaLynda "Shadow" White (Marcus), Andranique "Tattoo" Huff, Myrlinda "Meatloaf" Soedjede (Gankey), Ieasha "Easha" Huff, Veronica "Tiny" Huff, LaCresha "LC" Sims (Kelvin), Brittany "Rosie" Huff; 36 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
PawPaw was known for his humorous phrases:
Can I pay for that with food stamps? I'm gonna eat up all of y'all's groceries. Y'all want sum'teat? Y'all don 'et? That is very "un i cue." (Unique). What time do you have to catch that mule in the morning? (Go to work), "When the eagles fly"= payday`. "Association brings about assimilation."

A walk-through visitation will begin at 12:00 pm ending at 1:15 pm on Friday, April 10, 2020, at the funeral home. All required COVID-19 regulations are posted at the funeral home and must be followed. There will be a private burial for the immediate family.
