Obituary

Willie Maude Palmer, 91, of Hot Springs, AR, peacefully transitioned on Monday, February 17, 2025. She was born to WT & Winnie Hill on April 26, 1933, in Alpine Arkansas.

Maude is preceded in death by her parents, her four brothers, and one sister.

Maude retired from Walmart after 18 years and went to help one of her daughters at Cathy's Quiltin' Square for 25 years. She was also a talented seamstress. She loved her church and was known for her unwavering faith. Roses and Tulips were her favorite flowers—so much so that she even made Jimmy plant them in her front yard.

Maude was a joyful and kind-hearted woman, always wearing a warm smile. She deeply loved travel, with Branson and the Sight & Sound Theatre being among her favorite destinations. Full of wisdom and compassion, she was the heart of her family and a true peacemaker.

Her favorite sayings were: "This too shall pass.", "Bring it on!", "If you can't see me when I'm alive, don't come see me when I'm dead."After she was diagnosed with cancer her word's were " It's God's Plan".

Maude leaves behind a loving family, including Sandra Cahill, Sylvia Wolf (Roger), Janice Chapmond (Gary), Nita Brewer (Kim), Cathy Anderson (Jimmy), and Barry Fendley (Amy). She was blessed with Ten grandchildren, Sixteen great-grandchildren, and Seven great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
